Plain-English summary
We keep cookies and similar technologies to a minimum. We use a few essential ones to log you in and keep the service secure (these don't need consent), and a small number of analytics ones that only run after you agree via our cookie banner. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell your data. You can change your choice at any time.
What we use
Essential (always on — no consent needed)
These are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so they don't require consent:
- Your cookie choice — a small record (in your browser's local storage) of whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we don't ask every visit.
- Sign-in / session — keeps you logged in securely (set by our authentication provider, Supabase).
- Security & bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile and related security cookies protect sign-in and forms from abuse.
Analytics (only with your consent)
These load only after you select "Accept" on the cookie banner, and are switched off by default:
- Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics — on our websites, to understand which pages are useful. IP addresses are truncated/handled by the provider; no advertising.
- PostHog — inside the app, to see which features are used (pseudonymous identifier and usage events; we do not send your email to it).
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site/behavioural ad tracking, no selling of personal data.
Managing your choice
- Use the "Manage cookies" link in the website footer, or the cookie banner, to accept or reject analytics at any time.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (blocking essential cookies may break sign-in).
International transfers & providers
Some providers above are outside the UK/EEA. We rely on recognised transfer safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. The full list of providers is on our Sub-processors page.
