Beta

The iMeshh Pro docs are in beta — we update them as the product evolves. Some screenshots and details may be slightly out of date. If anything here doesn't match what you see in the app, what's in the app is right. Spot something off? Let us know.

Status banners

The trial, billing, storage, and seat banners that appear above the dashboard — what each one means and what to do about it.

Updated 24 June 2026

A coloured banner sometimes appears across the top of the dashboard, above everything else. Each banner tells you about your plan, your storage, or a teammate's seat — and most carry a button to fix it. This page covers each banner and the action it asks for.

You meet these banners first on the dashboard, but they follow you across every section while the condition lasts.

Start trial

If your studio has never run a Pro trial and is eligible for one, a banner invites you to start it.

To start the trial:

  1. Click Start trial in the banner.
  2. Read the 21-day Pro trial dialog. It lists what the trial includes, what it leaves out, and what happens when it ends.
  3. Click Start 21-day Pro trial to begin, or Not now to close the dialog.

A few things to know before you start:

  • The trial runs 21 days for a new account. Customers who already buy from the iMeshh Asset Library get a 3-month trial instead, and the dialog title reads 3-month Pro trial.
  • The trial does not include publishing showcases, posting to the feed, or paid seats.
  • When the trial ends, your data is archived for 30 days, then permanently deleted a further 60 days after that (90 days after the lock) unless you subscribe. The dialog spells out these dates.

Billing state

When your plan changes state, a banner explains where you stand and what to do.

You see one of three messages:

  • Trial ended — your trial is over and your studio is read-only. Click Upgrade to subscribe and restore full access.
  • Subscription ended — your plan was cancelled or lapsed and your studio is read-only. Click Reactivate to subscribe again.
  • Pending cancellation — you cancelled but the plan is still active until the end of the period. Nothing is locked yet.

The Upgrade and Reactivate buttons open Settings → Subscription. When your studio is read-only, the banner also offers an Export your data link so you can take your work with you.

Storage over the limit

If your studio's files exceed your plan's storage allowance, an amber banner warns you.

The banner reads either:

  • Your storage exceeds your current plan limit. New uploads are blocked. — you cannot upload more until you free space or upgrade.
  • Some resources exceed your plan limits and are read-only. — existing files over the limit are locked for editing.

Click Upgrade Plan to move to a plan with more storage. The banner shows a countdown for any grace period you have left before the limit takes full effect.

Seat warning

If you were invited into another studio and that studio's Pro plan has lapsed, your seat there is at risk. A banner warns you per affected studio.

The colour tells you how urgent it is:

  • Orange — your seat is in a grace period. You still have access for now.
  • Red — your seat is suspended. Access to that studio is paused until its owner renews.

This banner is a heads-up only — the studio's Owner has to renew the plan to restore your seat. You cannot clear it from your side.
