Trash and recovery

Where deleted projects, tasks, and deliverable versions go, how long you have to restore them, and how to bring them back.

Updated 23 June 2026

Deleting something in Projects doesn't wipe it straight away. Projects, tasks, and deliverable versions move to a trash first, where you can restore them for a window of time before iMeshh Pro removes them for good.

The recovery window

How long a deleted item stays recoverable depends on your plan:

PlanRecovery window
Free7 days
Lite30 days
Studio Pro60 days
Enterprise90 days

After the window passes, iMeshh Pro removes the item permanently. Restore anything you want to keep before then.

Project trash

Deleting a project moves it to the project trash. Only a studio owner or admin can delete a project — see Members and roles.

To restore or remove a project:

  1. Click Trash on the Projects index.
  2. Find the project in the Deleted projects panel.
  3. Click Restore to put it back where it was, or Delete permanently to remove it now.

Task trash

Deleted tasks have their own trash, separate from the project trash, so removing a task never touches the rest of the project.

To restore a task:

  1. Open the project and go to the Tasks tab.
  2. Click the trash-can button on the toolbar.
  3. Find the task and click Restore.

A restored task comes back with its status, assignee, and other fields intact.

Deliverable versions

Deleting a deliverable version moves that one version to the trash; the other versions stay. A restored version lands back in its original slot in the version history.
